These research areas are listed according to EPRI's four research
sectors—Nuclear, Generation, Power Delivery and Utilization, and Environment.
Two "virtual sectors" bring together research from the traditional sectors to
show how EPRI is focusing on the increasingly important areas of renewable
energy and energy efficiency. EPRI's Technology Innovation research areas focus
on longer term research, emerging technologies and multi-discipline areas.
